Hugh Ó Ríordáin, Undergraduate School Convenor

Hugh is a fourth year student of European Studies with German and Irish who serves as the undergraduate convenor for the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies.

The Undergraduate School Convenor is elected by students within the school as part of the Students' Union and works to represent undergraduate students in the School, along with their class reps and other SU officers. Hugh aims to ensure the voices of students within the School are heard by the School itself, as well as by the Students' Union and the College more broadly.

Ellen Higgins, Postgraduate School Convenor

Ellen Higgins is an MPhil student in Digital Humanities and Culture (DHC) in the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies. She holds representative roles at both class and School level, serving as the class representative for the DHC cohort and as the Postgraduate Convenor. Ellen is committed to advocating for postgraduate students and fostering clear communication between students and the School.

The School Convenor is elected by students within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences through the Students’ Union and works alongside class representatives to address shared and structural issues affecting postgraduate students across the School, ensuring consistent and effective student representation at a School-wide level.
