A: Yes, applicants frequently use both certified and experiential learning in their application. This is totally acceptable, providing that appropriate evidence can be provided to support the claim.
Q: How can you apply for RPL?
A: Submit a general Trinity application and specify prior learning/experience within the online application form. The School /Admissions may contact you for further information when processing your application and may ask you to complete specified forms that they will supply to you.
Q: Is there an RPL application fee?
A: No, Trinity do not charge a fee when processing RPL applications.
Q: How long does it take for an RPL application to be processed?
A: This will depend on the type of application (entry, advanced entry, module exemption), and the evidence presented (formal, informal and non-formal). It could take 2 weeks up to 2 months. The School/Admissions will inform you as your application is being processed.
