In June and July 2015, Trinity will offer four different summer schools, catering to a variety of different interests and disciplines. These one- and two-week intensive courses are residential, and include daily social and recreational activities, as well as cultural day-trips around Ireland and Dublin for all attendees.
Riverdance has joined forces with Ireland’s leading university, Trinity College Dublin and the Lir to launch The Riverdance - Trinity College International Summer School. Taught by the Riverdance professionals, the students will be immersed in the famous piece in its birthplace. All attendees will take part fully in an exciting schedule of classes and activities. Attendees will learn the original choreography and have the opportunity to perform with the professional Riverdance dancers.
The Science Gallery Dublin is collaborating with the Trinity College School of Chemistry to run this week-long course. Offering students the chance to experience life as a real scientist, this summer school gives attendees hands-on experience in a chemistry lab, and the opportunity to meet leading scientists and hear about their cutting edge research.
This summer school is designed to meet the needs of students whose first language is not English, and who wish to improve their English language ability for the purposes of using it to study at undergraduate courses in universities. This course promises to prepare international students for a fantastic and successful university life.
Led by renowned Irish conductor Ciarán Crilly, this summer school features expert training by members of the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s (RIAM) distinguished teaching staff, as well as a number of rehearsal sessions with visiting conductors.
