Assessment design plays a crucial role in promoting and upholding academic integrity. Robust assessment design ensures fair evaluation, discourages cheating, promotes learning and individual accountability, ensures transparency and consistency; thus contributing to a positive academic culture based on academic integrity principles. 


This webinar will support you to:

  • understand what is meant by academic integrity, academic misconduct, and cheating behaviours
  • discuss the impact of cheating behaviours on assessment, academic integrity and academic misconduct
  • evaluate a range of approaches that can be adopted within your own practice to strengthen assessment integrity (even in a world of generative AI)
