Dr Pauline RooneyAcademic Developer
Dr Pauline Rooney is an Academic Developer with over 20 years experience in education development, academic support, teaching and research. She has particular expertise in the areas of digital learning, teaching and assessment and digital scholarship: she is co-founder of TU Dublin’s MSc in Applied eLearning and an experienced coordinator of non-accredited professional development including the award-winning Dublin eLearning Summer School.
Nicola ByrneEducation Support Officer
Nicola’s role focuses on project management; course administration; data analysis; report writing and budget management.
Jade ConcannonEducation Support Officer
Jade has been a member of the Academic Practice team since 2005. She administers all of the academic professional development programmes e.g. the Special Purpose Certificate in Teaching, Learning and Assessment, the Teaching and Supporting Learning module for GTAs and the workshops and seminars on offer during the year. She manages the Trinity Excellence in Teaching Awards and looks after the AP website.
Dr Jonny JohnstonAcademic Developer
Jonny leads modules focused on higher education practice, assessment and feedback, and curriculum design as part of Trinity’s SP Cert in Teaching, Learning, and Assessment for Academic Practice.
Dr Caitríona Ní ShéAcademic Developer
In her most recent role as Education Developer for PD in the National Forum, she managed and evaluated the roll out of the National Forum’s suite of digitally badged professional development courses, developed and implemented a strategy to foster communities of practice across the higher education sector, and supported the upgrading of the Open Courses platform
Dr Cicely RocheAcademic Developer
Dr Cicely Roche joined academic practice in 2017, as a Trinity Education Fellow and Academic Developer (Part-time). Cicely is also an Associate Professor in the Practice of Pharmacy the School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences since 2009 (Half-time). Cicely teaches and co-ordinates modules on Trinity’s Special Purpose Certificate and was Lead Developer for the National Forum digital badges in Programme Focussed Assessment / facilitator badge (TCD-UCD-NF) in 2020.
