MRI Charges

3T	€400 per hour plus €50 per participant
7T	€1,200 per day

MEG Charges

Research	€150/hr
Clinical	€200/hr

In addition to the above COMPUTE resources we will have an Accelerated computing solution with secure storage available in 2026 with the following capabilities-

Maguire Cluster
The new Accelerated computing solution comprises 24 H200 NVIDIA GPU’s in a 3 node configuration of 8GPU’s and associated server hardware as well as a HPE Cray C500 (2 PetaByte) secure storage solution and associated operational software.

GPU: 24 × NVIDIA H200 (141 GB HBM3e each) → ~96 PFLOPS (FP8) aggregate and ~3.38 TB of total GPU memory (141 GB × 24).  
Cost per GPU/hr: €100-200, depending on usage

Storage: HPE Cray C500 (2 PetaByte) secure storage solution
€1,200 per user for up to 1 TB per year with a 7 year minimum for clinical data or for other data payable in advance in 3 year chunks

Project approval
MRI Projects must have College Faculty Ethics Committee approval and/or Hospital Ethics Committee approval depending on the participant cohort. Very novel projects not performed before on the TCIN scanner may have to submit a protocol for presentation to the MRI committee.

Pilot Scanning
A limited number of discounted pilot scans are available for projects deemed to (i) advance the scanner for all users or (ii) provide data to enable innovative grant applications to be written. Guidelines are available here.
