Mr Dermot Geraghty

Research Students

Mr Brian Donohue

Description

This project is concerned with the development of strain measurement system which utilise Surface Acoustic Wave Resonators (SAWR). SAWR sensors hold the potential of working wirelessly and passively drawing all the energy required for strain measurement and response through a signal burst RF interrogation single. The aim of this project is to develop a SAW R strain sensor fit for operating in general purpose applications.
