Gold Medals

TSM students may be eligible for a Gold Medal on the basis of their moderatorship results at the end of the Senior Sophister year. The TSM Court of Examiners' meeting at the Annual and Reassessment Sessions makes recommendations to Board for the award of Gold Medal to TSM students based on College criteria. Students who are to be awarded a Gold Medal are usually informed in advance of their chosen Graduation ceremony by the Senior Lecturer and receive their medal at the ceremony.
Gold medals are awarded by the Board to candidates of the first class who have shown exceptional merit. For details on the criteria for the award of gold medals see category 3 (pattern A) or category 5 (pattern B and C) in the Academic Registry guidelines available at: . Please note in Category 5 for Pattern B, Moderatorship Part 2 refers to the Major Subject overall and not the degree overall.
