Research Interests
My main focus is on family economics, gender and labour economics. In my first chapter I show how parents with different preferences jointly decide on parenting styles. In the second chapter I study how presence of mothers-in-law could affect the labour force participation of skilled daughters-in-law in India. My last project is on the incidence of physical/sexual violence in the European context.

Biography
I am currently a fourth year PhD student in Economics at Trinity College Dublin and I am a Provost PhD Scholar. I completed my Master degree in Economics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, Italy and my Bachelor degree in Economics and Statistics from St Xaviers College, Mumbai, India.
