Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union offers a timely opportunity to reflect on Ireland’s role in shaping Europe’s future. At the Trinity Long Room Hub, we are bringing together leading voices from across research, policy, and public life to explore the challenges and opportunities facing the European Union today. Through a programme of public events, expert discussions, and accessible digital content, our work highlights key debates, shares new perspectives, and fosters informed public engagement with Europe at a pivotal moment.
Trinity European Laureate Award
The Trinity European Laureate Award recognises individuals and organisations who have made an exceptional contribution to European public life. Presented as part of the Trinity Long Room Hub’s EU Presidency programme, the award highlights leadership, vision, and impact across Europe.
Europe is as much a cultural and intellectual project as it is a political one, and the humanities help our citizens to interpret complexity and resist simplification. The Trinity European Laureate Awards, a partnership between the Trinity Long Room Hub, and Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, form part of Trinity’s programme of events to coincide with Ireland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU.
