Leaving Cert English Lectures
Every year, the School of English hosts a series of Evening Lectures, which are open to all members of the public interested in exploring the world of English literature. From October to December, the School runs a series called 'English Literature,' featuring a selection of texts drawn from the Leaving Certificate English syllabus.
About this Event:
This course, delivered by Trinity School of English staff, will provide an introduction to major authors of poetry, drama and prose through close examination of selected texts, chosen from among those prescribed for the Leaving Certificate. The course will be of special interest to teachers and pupils preparing for the examination but the lectures will be directed towards a more general audience as well.
Fee:
€50 for the entire series. Individual lectures are €5 each. Concessionary rates for the full series will be €40 or individual lecture €4 each. The Trinity School of English kindly gift 60 places per lecture to Trinity Access-linked secondary school students.
Date, Time and Place: Our English Lecture Series in collaboration with the Trinity School of English is taking place from 7-8pm every Tuesday from October 4th to December 13th in the Ed Burke Theatre on campus.
