Joanne D’Arcy

Project Manager

Joanne D’Arcy is a research project manager at the Trinity Centre for Environmental Humanities, specialising in the coordination of large-scale international research programmes. She currently leads the post-award management of the €10.4 million 4-Oceans ERC Synergy project — Ireland’s first humanities-led ERC Synergy grant — working with global partners including NTNU, NOVA University Lisbon, Columbia University, NASA, University of Oslo and University of California, San Diego. With more than a decade of experience in European and Irish research management, Joanne specialises in strategic project leadership, international collaboration, research communications and funding governance across complex multidisciplinary initiatives.

In 2026 Joanne was appointed to the Trinity College Dublin Research Managers Community of Practice Steering Committee.
