Entry Requirements
- II-2 minimum, Level 8 Award (or equivalent). No specific subjects required.
- English Language requirements – Band B (Standard Entry)
General Requirements
Assuming that this basic pre-requisite is in place, thereafter admission to the BCL programme is at the absolute discretion of the School of Law, which will decide on questions of admission having regard to a wide range of academic criteria, including the quality of the individual application and the objectives of ensuring a diverse BCL class of the highest possible academic calibre.
Application Process
- Applications for 2027/28 will open in early November 2026 and close on 31 March 2027 (TBC). Early applications are advisable.
- Applications must be submitted through the online application platform (link to follow) and not directly to the School.
Application Documents
When applying, the following information will be required
- Academic proof of award and grades – transcripts (including official English translation of documents if English is not the language of use)
- Language learning competency – (Band B standard entry)
- Curriculum Vitae
- References x 2
- Personal statement (max 500 words)
- Proof of EU residency if claiming EU status
