Trinity’s Graduate Entry Law Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) programme offers a pathway into the legal and cognate professions for graduates holding degrees outside of law.  This Level 8 conversion course delivers core foundational law modules alongside critical analytical, research, and advocacy skills. These competencies form the vital foundation for modern legal practice, as well as high-impact careers in regulatory affairs, corporate compliance, and strategic advisory roles.

Programme Outcomes 

Having successfully completed this programme, graduates should be able to:  

• Research, analyse, and write about law;   

• Evaluate law in its social, political, and economic context;   

• Engage with theoretical and critical perspectives on the purpose and character of law;   

• Progress to professional training, equipped with foundational skills in oral advocacy and negotiation.

Smaller class sizes: with class sizes of up to 50 per year, students will benefit from substantial engagement with their lecturers and an accelerated curriculum suited to graduate learners.
