Paul White
Paul acts as a corporate and board legal adviser, and strategic counsel. He holds a BCL (NUI) and is a practising solicitor.
For 30 years he was a partner at leading Irish law firm A&L Goodbody LLP where he specialised in corporate governance, equity capital markets and IPOs, joint-ventures, and domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions for both publicly listed and privately-held corporations.
His corporate governance work has included advising: international and domestic banks, insurers, data groups and other regulated organisations; publicly listed corporations; Government and State-owned entities; privately held businesses; and private equity, angel, and family office investors. This has involved all aspects of corporate governance, including EU and national governance codes and standards, and regulatory oversight. Paul also regularly advises Boards of charities and other non-profit organizations.
Paul served two terms as Chair of A&L Goodbody LLP. He is currently a member of the Business Law Committee of the Law Society of Ireland, and a former vice-chair of the Corporate and M&A Law committee of the International Bar Association.
