Dr Pearce Clancy

Dr Pearce Clancy is a Research Fellow in public international law at the Trinity College Dublin School of Law, funded by Research Ireland’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme. He was previously the National University of Ireland’s EJ Phelan Fellow in International Law and Assistant Professor in International Human Rights Law at the Irish Centre for Human Rights, University of Galway. His first book, Permanent Neutrality in International Law, is forthcoming with Oxford University Press. He currently sits on the Royal Irish Academy’s Standing Committee for International Affairs and is a frequent collaborator with civil society and human rights organisations.
