The School is deeply committed to knowledge transfer between academia and the various dimensions of the professional worlds with which they interact – in the courts; and in public policy.  Trinity Law School is now recruiting for two academic positions – Associate Professor in Public International Law and Assistant Professor in Law of Evidence and Criminal Law.

Associate Professor in Public International Law

Applications are welcome from legal scholars with internationally recognised research excellence in the field of public international law.  The postholder will be required to deliver core modules at undergraduate level in the area of public international law, to develop and deliver postgraduate modules, and to supervise students at undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels.  The successful candidate will be required to carry out administrative duties as directed by the Head of School and/or Head of Discipline and is expected to be research active. A key feature of this role is to provide leadership for the School’s LL.M. in International and Comparative Law programme and to drive the integration of public international law perspectives across the undergraduate curriculum.

Assistant Professor in Law of Evidence and Criminal Law

The assistant professorship in the Law of Evidence and Criminal Law is a tenure track position.  Applications are welcome from legal scholars with research excellence in the law of evidence and criminal law. The postholder will be required to deliver core modules at undergraduate level, develop and deliver postgraduate modules and supervise students at undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels.  S/he/they will be required to carry out administrative duties as directed by the Head of School and/or Head of Discipline and is/are expected to be research active.
