About Corporate Law and Governance Research Group


The Corporate Law and Governance Group constitutes a diverse and vibrant group of scholars who work together and discuss shared research interests in the broad areas of Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Capital Markets Law and Financial Law. The Group engages in collaborative and interdisciplinary research and contributes to academia, practice, and public policy. 

Director

Professor Blanaid Clarke is Director of the Corporate Law and Governance Group and is the McCann FitzGerald Chair of Corporate Law at Trinity College Dublin. Her research interests include: corporate law, governance (corporate governance, fund governance and central bank governance), ethics and takeover law. She is a member of the Company Law Review Group, and serves as the Irish representative on the OECD’s Corporate Governance Committee and a Vice President of the Academic Board of the European Banking Institute.
