The School of Law is pleased to note the appointment of Professor Deirdre Ahern as Chair of the Company Law Review Group for the 2026–2030 session. This is a appointment and reflects  Deirdre's expertise and reputation as well as  her excellent work as a Member of the Company Law Review Group during the 2022 – 2026 term.

The Company Law Review Group works to ensure Ireland maintains a sound, functional company law infrastructure. Its primary aims include promoting enterprise, facilitating commerce, simplifying the operation of the Companies Acts, enhancing corporate governance, and encouraging commercial probity.
