b'Financial Information SystemTeam Purpose StatementWe manage and support a leading-edge Financial Information System (FIS) to meet the needsof all stakeholders. Our aim is to provide the University with the means to produce timely,accurate and appropriate reporting as required and to ensure eective financial management.This will support Trinity in delivering its strategic objectives including reducing costs,improving quality controls, managing risk, and increasing operational eiciencies.Key achievements include: Donal Milne \x01 Successfully migrated Trinitys financial information system to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Financial Information (including Enterprise Performance Management) in April 2023, improving system Systems Manager performance and speed.\x01 Implemented the business process automation toolFlowForma, resulting in the digitisation of the FIS Oracle User Access Form, with other key process forms currently under development. \x01 Initiated a project to automate the movement of data between CoreHR (the Human Resources system) and the Oracle financial information system based on employee status i.e., when sta join, leave, or move to another area in Trinity, resulting in a more eicient process.\x01 In collaboration with the Account Payables team, executed a new automated invoicing system replacing the original DB Capture application to upgrade and enhance functionality.\x01 Following the departure of Ulster Bank from the Irish market, the FIS and Accounts Payable teams implemented a new Purchasing Card solution for Trinity.\x01 Together with the Special Projects Manager and the Service Liaison Oicer, the FIS Manager developed an Information Security Incident Response Plan designed to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availabilityof financial data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.\x01 Achieved annual FIS Support Helpdesk service level targets in response to university-wide queries25,000 queries resolved in 2023 (21,500 resolved in 2022).\x01 Continued to engage with and support FIS users across the University through FIS User Group meetings, FIS Clinics, FIS training workshops, Open Days and regular updates via MS Teams Channels and monthly FIS Support Updates.31 32'
