Eoin Murphy


Eoin Murphy is chair of the Trinity Centre for Asian Studies Advisory Council. He is also chair of the St Fin Barre's Quarter Development Group, Cork and a full time student in photography at Munster Technological University. Prior to retiring Eoin ran his own executive search business based in Hong Kong which was focused on serving the needs of private equity companies. He also has over 20 years of experience in HR and Operations leadership with corporations such as Mars, Boots, Xerox and Rolls Royce Aerospace. He has lived in Thailand, UK, Africa and in China where he founded Le Chéile Shanghai, an organisation that promotes cultural links between the Shanghai based Irish Community and the Chinese.

Eoin is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds a Bachelors of Engineering from Trinity College Dublin. He is passionate about enhancing relationships between Ireland and Asia.
