We run a structured seminar series where scientists and clinicians from different disciplines present their translational work. This forum stimulates interactions across the different thematic areas within the institute and also allows for the development of collaborations between different disciplines.
Under the umbrella on this seminar series, internationally recognised leaders from different institutions which complement each of the thematic areas with TMMI will be invited to visit our Institute and speak about their translational work. This will enhance knowledge and collaborations; further enhancing the translational ecosystem within the Institute.
We have developed a unique career mentoring programme for our research fellows, where they will be mentored on all aspects of career development activities by senior faculty within the institute.
For Ph.D. students, we offer a number of educational modules from the different MSc. programmes running from the Institute. This enhances their educational experience in translational medicine during their Ph.D. training.
For undergraduate students, we offer a number of summer research placements that gives students the opportunity to work in a laboratory setting which will aid them in their decisions to pursue a career in science.
