Doctoral Thesis Summary

My current research focuses on Development and Gender economics. In my first project, I study the impact of internet connectivity on gender norms in Sub-Saharan Africa. In my second paper, I study the impact of resource windfalls on education and labor supply in Bangladesh. I am now working on new projects with the aim to understand how gender norms and domestic violence are interlinked.

I am a Ph.D. student in Economics at Trinity College, Dublin and I am an Irish Research Council Scholar.  I hold my Master's degree in Economics from the University of Bologna and my Bachelor's degree in Economics and Trade from the University of Torino. My main research interests revolve around Social Norms, Intimate Partner Violence, and Education.
