Global Authoritarianism: Perspectives on the Rise of the Radical Right
A one day conference organised by the School of Histories and Humanities.
This is a major international, interdisciplinary conference examining the dynamics behind the emergence of right-wing authoritarianism throughout the world. It brings together twelve scholars from five continents to examine in comparative context the cases of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, the Czech Republic, El Salvador, France, Hungary, India, Israel, the Philippines, Uganda, and the U.S. It is open to the general public.
