Network of Irish-Based Development Economics (NIDE) Workshop
The workshop was organised by Selim Gulesci, Fabrice Kampfen (University College Dublin) and Arcangelo Dimico (Queen's University Belfast). It facilitated exchange of ideas and collaborations amongst network members, supporting junior researchers interested in the field.

The workshop featured Siwan Anderson (UBC) and Patrick Francois (UBC) as keynote speakers.
NIDE is part of the Irish Economic Association (IEA) and the European Development Economics Group (EDEG). Each year, EDEG organises a rotating conference in Development Economics, hosted in a different European country, with a local team taking the lead in organising the event.
TIME-CEPR Development Economics Symposium
The annual symposium attracted participants from universities around the world, including Sweden, France, Italy and the United States.

Day one featured presentations by Dr Teresa Molina Millan (University of Alicante), Dr Catherine Guirkinger (University of Namur) and many others. Paper titles included:

- "Equity Conundrum: Unintended Consequences of College-Level Affirmative Action on the Labor Market" by Ritika Gupta (Wageningen University)
- "Absent but Not Idle: The Social Roots of Demand for Flexible Work" by Suanna Oh (Paris School of Economics).
Day two featured presentations by Dr Guillermo Woo-Mora (Paris School o Economics), Dr Chiman Cheung (University of California), Dr Nilmini Herath (LSE) and many more. Paper titles included:
- "Land Rights Insecurity and the Persistent Misallocation of Talent" by Dr Yun Xiao (University of Gothenburg)
- "Drug Lords in STEM" by Maria Montoya Aguirre (Paris School of Economics).
