What are the work hour limits for international students in Ireland?

Non-EU students who have permission to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate study in Ireland are entitled to take up casual employment, defined as up to 20 hours part-time work per week or full-time work during vacation periods when their coursework for the year is complete.

How long can international graduates stay in Ireland to work?

Under the Third Level Graduate Scheme (Stamp 1G), Trinity graduates can remain in Ireland to seek full-time employment. Undergraduate (Level 8) students are eligible for a 12-month stay-back, while Postgraduate (Level 9 or 10) students can stay for 24 months. This period is specifically designed to facilitate the transition to a Critical Skills Employment Permit for long-term residency.
