Welcome to the Trinity Global Room
The Global Room team are focused on ensuring a positive international experience for all students.
The Global Room is a welcoming student support hub and event space on campus for all Trinity students, managed by the International Student Liaison Officer. The Global Room service is supported by a team of Global Ambassadors, students trained to help students with a wide range of queries ranging from immigration and accommodation practicalities to the basics of settling into life in Dublin and at Trinity.
Global Room Event Registration
The Global Room hosts over 300 international-themed events every year, bringing together students from diverse cultural backgrounds through celebrations, talks, social activities and support initiatives.
Our current Orientation Programme includes coffee mornings, speed friending, games nights, movie nights, immigration support drop-ins and other events designed to help visiting, undergraduate and postgraduate students settle into life at Trinity College Dublin, make friends and build connections.

Meet the Team
During the academic term, the Global Room is open from 9:30am to 9pm Monday-Friday.
The Global Room runs the New2Dublin programme on Monday evenings for several weeks at the start of term to help incoming students adjust to life in Dublin city and answer questions large and small, from making friends to where to find the cheapest groceries.

Location
Once on campus, the Global Room is located beside the Academic Registry on the first floor of the Watts Building. The space can accommodate approximately 80 people comfortably and is open Monday through Friday from 9.30am - 9pm.
