China Claddagh Undergraduate Scholarship Programme
The Claddagh Undergraduate Scholarships are awarded to exceptional students from China who have received a course offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at Trinity College Dublin.
Scholarships range in value between €2,000 and €5,000. Scholarships are applied as a reduction to the year one tuition fees of a full-time undergraduate programme.
Scholarship Eligibility
- Applicants must be Chinese nationals and be ordinarily resident in China.
- Applicants must have a non-EU fee status, and their tuition fees must be billed at a non-EU rate.
- Applicants must have a course offer to commence year one of a full-time undergraduate degree programme at Trinity College Dublin for academic year 2026/2027. Medicine, dentistry, acting, engineering, natural sciences, and computer science and statistics courses are exempt from this scholarship programme. Scholarships related to these programmes may be available at School level, speak to the Trinity representative for your region for more guidance. Selection Process
Applications will be assessed and awarded on a rolling basis. Selection will be based on academic achievement and applicants’ potential to contribute to the Trinity community. Allocations will also consider regional and programme diversity.
Timelines
Applications will be assessed and awarded on a rolling basis. Early application is advised. The final deadline for applications is 24 April 2026. Awardees will be expected to fully accept their course offer to receive their award. Scholarship awards will be applied to the tuition fee bills of awardees.
