SynthSCS Project - Knowledge Transfer and Synthesis across Student Counselling Services
Lead by Treasa Fox with Postdoctoral researchers Dr Deirdre Byrne and Dr Jessica Surdey.
SynthSCS Project Team based in Athlone Institute of Technology, are exploring Synthesis and Knowledge Transfer across Irish Higher Education Student Counselling Services. Outputs of the project include: writing the National Student Mental health and Suicide Prevention Framework for Ireland (2020) due to be launched later this year. The SynthSCS team is a proud collaborator as part of the 3SET project with Partner Institutions TCD and UCD, with the HEA, with key partners PCHEI, HSE, NOSP, NSRF, USI and with broader stakeholders to improve outcomes for student mental health, engagement and success

Create a resource repository of student mental health tools for student counselling services.
