An S2S Mentor Trainer is a student who has trained and volunteered previously as a Mentor and delivers training to the next cohort of Mentors. Mentor Trainers are paid to deliver a total of 40 4-hour trainings across the months of February-April, alongside another Mentor Trainer.
Mentor Trainers shape the future of the S2S volunteer cohort! Coming from a place of experience, Mentor Trainers bring their own wealth of knowledge into the training room for incoming Mentors.
As Mentor Trainers you are modelling behaviour, inclusive language, ethical practice and the core S2S values. Your actions set expectations for future Mentors. The norms you set are just as crucial as the training content itself.
Applications for 2026 Mentor Trainer are closed. Applications will reopen at the end of Term 1 for the next academic year.
