The Awards Ceremony took place on Friday 17 February and was attended by over 700 people, including Trinity’s International Marketing team.
Trinity was nominated for its 2016 US Open Day Marketing Campaign under the Best in Public Service Category. Trinity is proud to have been the only university represented and also the only entry in the category who ran the marketing campaign in-house, without employing an external agency. The team was pipped to the post by the Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme, to whom Trinity wish to extend their congratulations.
Trinity’s International Marketing Team was nominated for its work on the US Open Day events, which were held in New York, Boston and Washington D.C. in March 2016. The marketing campaign was executed by the internal International Marketing Team without agency assistance: comprising Nonie Gaynor (Project Lead and International Marketing Officer), Mick Lynham (International Marketing Officer) and Patricia Boyle (International Marketing Manager). Trinity's 2016 programme incorporated a comprehensive digital plan which included multichannel integration and focused targeting of communications. The campaign ran across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, included a targeted email campaign for each host city, used Eventbrite for registration and captured and nurtured leads through use of a CRM. A series of blog posts, written by current International students studying at Trinity, was also included as part of the integrated campaign.
