International higher education website StudyPortals has released the results of its study of international student satisfaction among European institutions. Trinity College Dublin has been awarded the StudyPortals Award for Outstanding International Student Satisfaction 2014.
Trinity is one of just two Irish insitutions to receive an ‘Outstanding’ award, and the only Irish institution to be awarded ‘Outstanding’ two years in a row. Trinity received an overall rating of 9.5 out of 10.
Results were drawn from the Student Exchange Platform (STeXX), a social platform where students can share their study experiences and review their universities. STeXX is the world’s largest database of international student experiences.
Unlike other university rankings, StudyPortals’ International Student Satisfaction awards are based on thousands of reviews and opinions from international students in Europe. The awards were issued as part of StudyPortals’ report, “Key influencers of international student satisfaction in Europe.”
Other European universities to receive an ‘Outstanding’ award from StudyPortals include the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and Karlstad University, Sweden.
