What is the Trinity-Manipal Engineering Transfer Programme?
The Trinity-Manipal Engineering Transfer Programme is a 2+2 credit transfer agreement between Trinity College Dublin and the International Centre for Applied Sciences (ICAS) at Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Students complete the first two years of their undergraduate engineering curriculum at ICAS in India and transfer to Trinity College Dublin for years three and four to graduate with a Trinity degree.

Eligible students will pursue the first 2 years of their course in India before transferring to Ireland for years 3 and 4 of the degree programme, subject to achieving the required grades.
Additionally, qualified students can apply to pursue a Masters (MAI) qualification by completing one further year at Trinity.

Conditional offers made.

Candidates receive 4th semester results and transcript and submit these to the School of Engineering.

Successful candidates receive firm offer and apply for visa.

Induction at Trinity
Students who have successfully completed two years in ICAS, have completed specified pre-requisites, and have secured a CGPA of at least 3.2 or equivalent over two years are eligible for consideration for advanced entry into the engineering programme at Trinity.
English language requirements are waived for ICAS students and Trinity will provide a supporting letter for the visa application process.
