Although the cost of living in Japan varies for everyone, it will cost about 100,000-120,000 JPY per month (approximately 750 euro). Thus, students should have enough money saved up to pay for one/half year of living costs before coming to Japan. Please visit the Hokkaido University’s webpage links for information about accommodation, visa, and insurance information.
