Year 1 Planning

• Research your mobility opportunities available to you in your Trinity programme

Year 2 Organising

• Attend information sessions that run from September - December
• Apply for a mobility to go abroad in Year 3 by the deadline (typically in November/December)

Year 3 Participation

• Go on a mobility for either Semester 1, Semester 2 or Full Year

The timing of when you can go on an experience abroad during your Trinity degree will depend on the specific programme you are enrolled in. Different programmes offer various opportunities for mobility at different stages of your studies. 

Generally students go abroad in their third year, except Engineering students who go abroad in their fourth year for either a full year or the second semester. Nursing students have the opportunity to go abroad during both their second year and third years. For questions on when you are eligible to go abroad, please contact your Trinity programme.
