Trinity College Dublin has retained its position as Ireland's highest-ranked university, placing 75th in the world in the QS World University Rankings 2027. This represents Trinity's strongest performance in the rankings in a decade and reflects its continued excellence in teaching, research, international engagement, and sustainability.
The university performed particularly strongly in areas such as International Faculty, International Students, Employment Outcomes, and Sustainability, where it ranked 29th globally. The results highlight Trinity's commitment to academic excellence, global impact, and preparing students for successful careers.
Commenting on the achievement, Provost Dr Linda Doyle described maintaining Trinity's position among the world's leading universities as a significant accomplishment and emphasised the importance of continued investment in higher education.
