Introduction
Workplace wellbeing is increasingly recognised as a strategic priority for organisations, yet many initiatives continue to focus primarily on individual behaviour rather than the systems in which people work. Sustainable improvements in wellbeing require organisations to understand and redesign the conditions that shape health, performance and human experience at work.
This online programme introduces participants to a systems thinking approach to workplace wellbeing, drawing on contemporary research from organisational psychology, human factors, systems science and work design. Participants will explore how leadership, culture, job design, technology, organisational processes and the wider social and policy context interact to influence wellbeing outcomes.
Rather than viewing wellbeing as the responsibility of individuals alone, the programme adopts a sociotechnical systems perspective, positioning organisations as active designers of healthier, safer and more sustainable workplaces. Participants will develop practical tools to diagnose systemic challenges, identify opportunities for intervention and design evidence-informed strategies that improve both employee wellbeing and organisational performance.
New November 2026 intake now open. Secure your place by selecting the Fees & Registration section below.
