Course Information
Built for road safety stakeholders, this course highlights collaboration across agencies through an interdisciplinary lens. It focuses on human factors and behaviour, tackles mobility challenges (including rehabilitation and adaptations that extend safe mobility), and explores the measures supporting Ireland’s Road Safety Strategy 2021–2030 and Vision Zero.

It focuses on human factors and behaviour, explores mobility challenges (including rehabilitation and adaptations that support safe mobility), and examines the measures supporting Ireland’s Road Safety Strategy 2021–2030 and Vision Zero.
Format and delivery
Online content (self-paced, from 13th April 2026)
The online component is delivered through Trinity College Dublin's Blackboard platform and features short, expert-led video lectures. Content is released on 13th April 2026 and remains available for six weeks, allowing participants to engage with the material at a convenient pace while building a shared foundation across disciplines and roles.
In-person workshop (28th May 2026, 09:30–17:00, mandatory)
The programme includes a one-day, face-to-face workshop on 28th May 2026 (09:30–17:00) with speakers from across the field. The day combines applied discussion with opportunities for exchange, including Q&A and a panel discussion, and creates space to connect with peers and stakeholders working in road safety, mobility and health.
Certification and completion
A Certificate of Completion for the Course in Road Safety, Mobility & Health (Trinity College Dublin) is awarded on completion of both components. Engagement with the online material is recorded through Blackboard, and workshop attendance is registered on the day.
