What is a “Spring Insight” Programme or Internship?

A “Spring Insight” is a short, early-stage internship that typically lasts a few days. It is designed to give first-year students of a 3-year degree, or first and second-year students of a four-year degree a taste of careers in  competitive fields like finance, law, and business.

They often involve shadowing professionals, taking part in workshops, networking and meeting recruiters, and learning how different roles and departments work. Ultimately, Spring Insight programmes:

  • Help students explore career paths early in their university journey.
  • Build awareness of different roles and industries.
  • Offer students a competitive edge for future internships or graduate roles.


How Do I Apply?

Applications for Spring Insight roles are often competitive, so it is good to do lots of research in advance.
