Access MyCareer as a Student
Signing in to MyCareer is easy as 1, 2, 3! Follow our simple steps below.
- Step 1: Sign in to MyCareer using your Trinity username and password
- Step 2: Personalise your profile with your email preferences, job and study areas of interest, and your career readiness.
- Step 3: Explore MyCareer!
Access MyCareer as an Alumni (Graduate)
- Step 1: Choose which email address you want to use to register as a graduate.
We recommend using Option 1 (non-Trinity (personal) address) to ensure ongoing access to our services as your Trinity email is provided at the discretion of the University so may be subject to change in the future.

- Option 1: Using a non-Trinity (personal) email. (Recommended) If you are registering using a non-Trinity (personal) email, please include your Trinity student number so we can check and verify your eligibility for a graduate account. Your request will be reviewed and approved by the Careers Service following which you will receive an email letting you know next steps.
- Option 2: Using your Trinity email address. If you are registering with your Trinity email address please log in to MyCareer and reset your password using the 'Reset' button below.
- Step 2: Create your password. You will receive an email to the address supplied, containing a link. Click on this link to enter a new password to give access to your yCareer account. All emails from MyCareer will be from careers@careers.tcd.ie.
- Step 3: Personalise your MyCareer profile with your email preferences, job and study areas of interest and your career readiness.
Access MyCareer as Trinity Staff
In order to access MyCareer you need to register by clicking the 'Register' button below. To register you need to include your name, email address, and your staff root username (e.g. jbloggs). Once Trinity Careers Service can recognise you as a Trinity Staff user, by cross checking your name with PeopleFinder, your request is approved so you can use the system. Using your Trinity email address will speed up the approval process.
