The Career Skills Award is open to all Trinity students. Whether you are undergraduate or postgraduate, full-time or part-time, home or international student – we encourage you to get involved.
You can join at any time. All 3 categories and completion of a reflective piece must be completed by 15th March 2026 in order to achieve the Award. If you have not completed in time, you can rejoin again in the following year (unless you are graduating).
We have designed the Award to be easily completed alongside your studies. It’s flexible, and it can be completed in your own time throughout the year. Aside from the 20 hours of Experiential Learning, which you may have already completed, the Award will only take about 5 hours to complete.
No, activities can be completed anywhere, as long as you can provide contact details for an approver or referee who can confirm your activity.
For any questions about the Trinity Career Skills Award, please do feel free to contact the team via email employability@tcd.ie .

Honestly, the combination of everything; the workshops, the reflective tasks, and even just taking time to think about my own skills and goals, it all helped. But what really made a difference was the encouragement to step outside my comfort zone and get involved. That mindset shift has stayed with me.
