Student featured activities include intramural sessions, drop in & play sessions and physical activity classes.

3x3 is THE basketball format to cater for any standard of player, new to the game, looking to get back playing, getting fit and having fun.

Touch is an extremely fun game with simple playing rules. There is no hard physical contact and relies on teamwork and ball skills. We welcome all ability levels.

Social Gaelic Games provide a sporting outlet for individuals who wish to explore or reignite their love of Gaelic Games.

A variety of fun physical activity events and challenges that are open to all students, staff and community members.

A fun team step challenge organized by the National Transport Authority that takes place in TCD annually. The aim is simple, find your team, log your steps for the month and win some amazing prizes. Walktober takes place in October, while Marchathon takes place in March each year.

Marchathon Step Challenge 2024:

Dates: Monday 4th March – Sunday 31st March 2024.

Let’s get walking during the month of March to win some great prizes. Create or join a Team with your colleagues and compete against others in Trinity College Dublin and across the country to place on the Leaderboard. There will be weekly competitions, updated Leaderboards, plenty of prizes and plenty of fun.

How to take part: 

  1. Get into a team of 3 – 6 people

The annual Reindeer Run is a 3k Christmas themed fun run that takes place during the first week of December every year. The annual Campus 5k is a timed 5k run that takes place in March during Health and Sport week every year.

Participants receive a custom t shirt as part of the TCD run series.
