Research topic : Essays on information, exchange rates, and the current account
Christian’s research deals with information shocks and their impact on exchange rate movements, current account imbalances, and household portfolios. More precisely, the dissertation aims to explain the effect of anticipated shocks about future macroeconomic fundamentals on exchange rate behaviour, current account adjustment, and international risk sharing.
