We are once again delighted to host the 6th INFINITI Conference on International Finance here at Trinity College Dublin on 9-10 June 2008. This year’s Conference will focus on the theme of “Micro and Macro Foundations of International Financial Integration”.

Delegates will be issued with their invoices upon receipt of the booking form.
Delegates paying by Bank Transfer or Bank Draft should take note of the relevant information included on the invoice. Please note that any banking fees and charges should be covered by registering delegate.
Delegates paying by credit card (VISA or Mastercard only) will be sent a direct internet link whereby online payments may be made via PayPal.
Early Registration rates will only apply to those who register prior to 1 May 2008.
Authors should ensure that that at least one author is registered no later than 1 May 2008 and that we are in receipt of registration fees no later than 14 May 2008 in order to ensure inclusion in the final Conference Programme.

**There is a strict no refunds policy for cancellations received after 14 May 2008. Refunds for cancellations prior to this date will be subject to banking fees and charges at cost.

Please note that only online submissions will be considered and the closing date for paper submission is 31 January 2008. Please click here to go directly to the paper submission website.
Paper Guidelines: Only completed papers will be considered. Papers should not exceed 30 pages in length.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Acceptance of a paper by the conference committee implies an agreement by the author and any attending co-author that they will also discuss a paper and/or chair a session.
Proposals for special sessions, roundtables and panel discussions are also welcome.
SPECIAL JOURNAL ISSUE
A special issue of the Journal of Banking and Finance on the theme of “International Financing, Integration and the Market for Corporate Control” will be published under the Guest Editorship of the Conference Chair. Papers submitted for this special issue will undergo the normal journal review process and the journal’s usual submission fee will apply.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Professor Maureen O’Hara
Robert W Purcell Professor of Management at the Johnson School at Cornell, Professor Maureen O’Hara is the executive editor of the Review of Financial Studies. She has served as president of the Western Finance Association, and as president of the American Finance Association. Professor O’Hara is on the board of directors of Investment Technology Group, Inc. (ITG), an agency brokerage firm, where she serves as lead director and chair of the compensation committee. Professor O’Hara is also chairman of the board of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester.
Professor O’Hara holds a MA and PhD from Northwestern. A Fellow of the American Finance Association and a multiple winner of the Smith-Breeden prize, she has published in excess of 50 articles in the leading journals.
Professor Barry Eichengreen
Barry Eichengreen is the George C Pardee and Helen N Pardee Professor of Economics and Professor of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Professor Eichengreen has published widely on the history and current operation of the international monetary and financial system. His books include The European Economy Since 1945 (Princeton University Press, 2006), Global Imbalances the Lessons of Bretton Woods (MIT Press, 2006) and Golden Fetters: The Gold Standard and the Great Depression, 1919-1939 (Oxford University Press, 1992). He was awarded the Economic History Association's Jonathan R T Hughes Prize for Excellence in Teaching in 2002 and the University of California at Berkeley Social Science Division's Distinguished Teaching Award in 2004. He is also the recipient of a doctor honoris causa from the American University in Paris.
