- Trinity Politics Department rated 31st best in the world
In the 2013 QS Subject Rankings for 'Politics and International Studies' published in May 2013, Trinity College Dublin was rated number 31 in the world, number 8 in Europe, and number 1 in Ireland. Commenting on this achievement, head of department Prof Michael Gallagher said 'This is a tribute to the quality and commitment of the strong academic team in the department, and helps to explain why admission to our undergraduate, masters and PhD programmes is so competitive'. - New masters programme in Politics and Public Policy
The Department of Political Science is introducing a new masters programme beginning September 2013, an MSc in Politics and Public Policy. Admission deadline 1 June 2013. This complements the existing Masters in International Politics; the admission deadline is also 1 June. - 2013 Trinity Scholars
