Trinity Talks: Dublin’s Hidden Histories

Dublin’s Hidden Histories is the latest series of ‘Trinity Talks’ from the Trinity Long Room Hub and Near FM, in partnership with Unit18 (Trinity in the Community). In this series of talks and radio programmes, we will feature stories of Dublin that have been lost or forgotten. From the story of ‘lost’ Dublin orphan Annie Faires, or city scavenger Catherine Strong to the forgotten factories of inner-city Dublin, Near FM listeners and live audience members will have the opportunity to engage with experienced researchers and compelling storytellers. The stories will be accompanied by live performances by An Góilín singers.

The series is made with the support of Coimisiún Na Meán’s Sound and Vision scheme, with the Television Licence fee.

These talks will be subsequently broadcast on Near FM. You can listen to Near FM online www.nearfm.ie/livestream or on 90.3FM. Episodes will also be made available through all podcast platforms, including Spotify, and can be found by searching Trinity Talks.
