Trinity professor, former advisor to the Taoiseach, and host of the Talking History podcast, Patrick Geoghegan, gives a lecture on the history of Irish presidential elections. The lecture aims to provide the listeners with historical background on the electoral process in Ireland in anticipation of the vote the following week. The event is organised by Dublin University History Society and Trinity Politics Society and is open to the public.
