Biography
Elaine is a member of the Discipline of Paediatrics who has worked in many different capacities. These include as a paediatric clinical trial coordinator and research assistant, adjunct Clinical lecturer for the undergraduate medical students, exam invigilator and facilitator on the 4th Year medical student Professionalism and Scientific Module. Her research area of interest is in the subject of listening. This includes regular acts of listening, research, education, and presentations on the topic of listening.
Elaine also works with healthcare professionals and others as a Spiritual Horticulturalist. In this role she focuses on individual wellness and mental well-being. She incorporates her research skills to disseminate current, relevant and practical research findings within this area. A Spiritual Horticulturalist guides people to reconnect to their true self using the images and words of horticulture in a non-triggering way.
