Research Funding
As part of TCD research diversification strategy, seven Research Programme Officer positions were created in 2013. These correspond with TCD’s priority research themes. The international development theme is situated in TIDI, with a designated Research Programme Officer.
This role within college focuses on identifying funding opportunities for researchers engaged in topics relating to international development; assist with funding application preparation, and consortium building and network activities to facilitate researcher engagement in funding applications. A main focus for the role is to assist the research community to get involved in European funding bids as well as other non-national funding sources.
