Laoise Dillon

Research Assistant, Trinity Centre for Environmental Humanities, School of Histories and Humanities, Trinity College Dublin.

I am a Research Assistant with the 4-Oceans project within the Trinity Centre for Environmental Humanities. I received my BSc in Marine Science from NUI Galway in 2020 and my MSc in Environmental Policy from University College Dublin in 2021. I completed a bursary in science communications with the Irish Marine Institute. My research interests include the just transition, marine social science, deep sea biodiversity and traditional ecological knowledge. I am interested in how different forms of knowledge can be combined to contribute to our understanding of the past, and how this can influence future research and policy.
